Mr. Sufizada is an international development professional with over 15 years of public and private sector experience engaging in a broad range of international development projects in emerging markets and in the United States. As an economist and social policy analyst, he has worked with the United Nations and the World Bank in Afghanistan, Liberia, Nepal, and Pakistan. His core expertise include economic policy analysis, public-private partnership, project design and management, private sector development, data analytics and international trade. He holds two master degrees from the United States. His first master degree is in Public Administration from Cornell University with concentration on international development and infrastructure policy. His second masters is in Economics with concentration on data analytics and growth & innovation. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and public administration from Osmania University, Hyderabad India. Currently, he is working with Center for Afghanistan Studies at University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Prior to that, he was the Director for Private Sector Development at the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL), Kabul Afghanistan.
